Although every effort is made to exhaust the dye bath you may find a little colour bleed on the first wash, use some white vinegar in the first wash to set.
A unique blend of Yak wool and silk which has a soft silvery beige base , with a silky sheen. This lush single-ply blend takes dye beautifully producing gorgeous vivid colours, great for sweaters, shawls and scarves.
Average quantity for a basic shape pullover in size M is 3 x skeins
Although the skeins come from the same dye bath, they can vary. If working with two or more skeins I recommend alternating strands to obtain a uniform fabric.
Due to the delicate nature of single ply yarns, we do not recommend using it for making socks or any other hardwear knits.
