JUST ARRIVED AT KALEIDOSCOPE……..

We were delighted to meet Sandra in Dieppe earlier this year, and discover ‘L’Echappée Laine’  her own label which produces 2 natural french spun yarns called:

‘L’Originale’ &  ‘La Fine’

Both spun from 100% virgin wool from the French Alps and Pyrenees. This yarn is light, airy, full of character and rustic charm, and each 50g ball costs 5.90€ making it one of the best value for money yarns around.

L’Originale (formally called ‘Shetland’is a worsted weight/ 5mm,  great for knitting sweaters, accessories, cables and stranded colour work. Though this is not a butter soft knitting yarn, it has a crisp feel which softens with handling and wear, and will last a long time..
